A large blade loosely inspired by early medieval war seax knives. Forged from 50HF spring steel, with a full-length fuller running the entire length of the blade. The center of gravity is about 10 cm from the hilt. The blade is covered with a dark patina, which adds character and protects the surface from rust.
The hilt is made of bronze on the guard and pommel, wenge wood, and antler. The entire piece has a distressed and patinated finish. The tang runs the entire length of the handle and is riveted to the pommel.
The scabbard is made of birch wood with leather accents. I sealed the whole thing with natural beeswax.
