The blade of this knife is made of a three-layer laminate called San Mai, consisting of an O2 core and 420 cladding. The laminate was made by Grzegorz Kaczyński of Loci Forge. I call this blade shape a “reverse Bowie.” It is very aggressive and makes an incredible impression, especially when combined with the laminate and the forged fuller. The “takedown frame”-style handle is made primarily of forged titanium. The guard, spacer, frame, and pommel are made of this material. The scales , riveted with stainless steel rivets, consists of specially processed sheep horns. The knife construction is takedown with stainless screw. All titanium components are flame-anodized, which creates a unique effect.
The sheath for this knife also features a one-of-a-kind design. It is a three-layer hybrid of leather and Kydex. The sheath’s frame is made of molded Kydex, covered and lined with leather both on the outside and the inside. This ensures that the knife stays incredibly secure in the sheath, since you have to open it slightly to release the knife. This leather belt loop fits belts up to 50 mm wide.
