Friction Folder, stainless steel folding knife – 8cm N690

Stainless steel folding knife, friction folder design. This means that the knife does not have a mechanical blade lock and is locked in the open position by holding the handle together with the blade tang , which overlaps the frame.
This type of folding knife was known in Europe as far back as 500 B.C., and spread through the Roman Empire.

My folders are a contemporary interpretation of this design.

The skeleton of the knife was created from forged stainless steel. The blade is made of N690 stainless steel. The blade rotates on phosphor bronze washers and a stainless steel axle. The clip is forged from titanium and screwed with a stainless steel screw, the clip can be turned to the other side.

With a little practice, you can unfold and fold the knife with one hand, but it is safer to do it with two hands.
