Hand-forged EDC dagger Made of 80crv2 steel, designed to be carried inside pants or in a pocket, in a discreet and quick-draw IWB sheath. The handle scales are made of old phenolic micarta and brass pins. The bolsters are made of polished copper. The dagger’s blade features a forged fuller and interesting forging marks on its surface.
The sheath is a hybrid combination of thin Kydex and leather. This combination has a traditional look but functions just like any Kydex sheath. The sheath has eyelets that allow for the attachment of a Teklok. A knife carried this way is invisible under clothing, yet can be drawn very quickly. When properly fitted, the sheath does not restrict movement or interfere with sitting, even in a car seat. You don’t even feel that you’re carrying a knife until the moment you need it.
I designed the knife for a reverse grip, with the thumb at the end of the handle. It works well as a backup tool, carried on the non-dominant side when you have a more specialized tool on the dominant side.
