A machete with a recurve blade. Its shape is perfect for chopping branches, clearing shrubs from the garden or a jungle path, and generally for all bushcraft tasks that require a bit more power.
The machete is forged from a single piece of 50HF spring steel with a handle curved in such a way that it is hollow inside (what I call a “tube-style” handle). It is a very simple and effective design. The center of gravity is about 10cm from the knot that acts as a small guard.
The handle was wrapped with resin-soaked paracord. The ABS sheath holds the tool securely, and can be carried tip up, for example, on a backpack.
