This unique knife is an interesting approach to the theme of an elegant hunting knife. The material I used to create the blade was created at Gregory Kaczynski’s forge, Loci Forge. It’s a five-layer laminate (called Go-mai) or Cu-mai), where in the core we have the amazing Apex Ultra high hardness steel, and on the covers we have copper and NMV steel. This gives a great visual effect while fully preserving the utility of such a hunting knife.
The blade was made of copper. The handle is a beautiful resin-stabilized alder chequerwork with bone and copper spacers.
The scabbard was made of vegetable-treated jucht, with a unique type of staining.
