Stainless steel folding knife, friction folder design. This means that the knife does not have a mechanical blade lock and is locked in the open position by holding the handle together with the blade shank, which overlaps the skeleton.
This type of folding knife was known in Europe as far back as 500 B.C., and spread through the Roman Empire.
My folders are a contemporary interpretation of this design.
The frame of the knife was created from forged grade 5 titanium. The blade is made of N690 stainless steel. The blade rotates on phosphor bronze washers and a stainless steel axle. The clip is forged from titanium and bolted with a stainless steel screw.
With a little practice, the knife can be unfolded and folded with one hand.
